Software used: After Effects.
Description: Protagonist waits at a bus-stop in the rain, and imagines herself arriving at a party. I keyed and color corrected the source footage in After Effects.

I used After Effects for the muzzle flash, image stabilization, motion blurs and compositing. I used Premiere Pro for editing and color correction, and mixed the sound effects in Cakewalk Sonar.

Motion DVD Menus

Post Production Tasks

Project:"Touch", a short film by Jeffery Wang.
Software used: After Effects, Photoshop.

Motion Graphics

Project:"Robotmedia Davis IX Intro", by Adam Burgett.
Software used: After Effects, Illustrator.
Description: I made this Tarantino-inspired intro to suit the showcase themes "Going Away" and "Revenge", at the height of Robotmedia Davis's popularity. The graphics were drawn in Illustrator* and animated in After Effects.

*Except for the airplane... I'm pretty sure that was a Wingdings character.

Editing

Project:"As Icarus Fell Music Video", by Adam Burgett.
Software used: Premiere, After Effects.
Description: A raw, performance based video for Davis hardcore band Unless, shot in the garage/studio where they practiced. It involved numerous fast edits, and the condensation of about two hours of footage. It has no real "concept" aspect, and 90 percent of the population finds the music insufferable. I grew to enjoy it.

Animation

Project:"Goblin Market", a short film by Kristi Uribes.
Software used: Flash, After Effects, Premiere.
Description: I created the animation for these segments of a USC student film. The director wanted the goblins to look hand animated, as if they were taken out of a storybook illustration. They were drawn in Flash and composited with the live-action footage in After Effects.
